Re: Now I have heard it all.....

I see the point there radioman,
But, what about when a tech is hired on with no tickets, then receives a few after employment as a sub contractor. Does he then get his contract terminated. let's compound the situation, what if he contractor received the tickets while running a route for DTV. Or, say he has an accident. Then what? He passed the DMV check. So what are the risk calculators then?
Accidents happen, that is why they are called accidents. The same amount of money will be shelled out for defense attorney's for DTV. Correct? So is this actually saving any money? Let's face it, most of the people that DTV will have that can pass the DMV check absolutely spotless are mostly people who are younger. And usually don't have that much driving experience. So when they are behind on a route (especialy being a newbie) they will undoubtably start driving faster to get to the next Scheduled install or SC. Thus increasing the chances for either A ticket or an accident. So in essance doesn't this create more of an issue than prevent?
And what about the subscriber? Being behind in installs creates pressure on any and all contract companies. The need to get techs out in the field to install as many as they can so that the contractor company can retain it's possition with DTV will no doubt create more inefficiancy which means there will definately be more service calls, wich will result with more unsatisfied customers.
How much revenue does this save again?
I see the potential for creating service calls, and then blaming contractors so that install price reduction can be implimented.
