You are totally missing the point.
Auto insurance was mandated by the government. Every one bitched about, and then accepted it.
Health insurance will be mandated by the government, everyone will bitch about, but will accept it.
Reform is already in the works through this bill. It is not by any means perfect, but is better than what we have now.
When some one ends up in the hospital with out insurance, and can't pay their bill, WE ALL SUFFER through higher health premiums, hospitals and doctors have to raise their rates to cover their losses, and the list goes on and on. Remenber, about 60% of all bankruptcies filed were due to medical costs.
We are supposed to be the greatest nation on earth, yet we can't even control health care costs.
