The only thing I can find that the phone line does is talk to the dak to tally any pay per view the that the customer purchased. There is no mention anywhere about info being shared w/ direct or dish about the channels they are watching. Of course the dack keeps track of the movie purchased but as far as I know thats it. Now if direct is using the line to monitor your viewing habbits w/out your permision than they are breaking the law. And yes, if this info was released to the public I would imagine some serious litigation.
