I disagree with cable being dead
I am making the same if not more than I was when I first started the business in the late 90's. Doing the door to door sales thing helps because the MSO's know that they need to get some of their old customers back. Hell even Cox is coming around and exploring ideas on how to keep a customer from moving to satellite. I also believe in positive thinking. If you are usually a very negative person in general than you will usually see the world as being negative. So the people that see that cable is "dead" usually see the whole world that way.
