If you want to know how fast wireless is coming...? A friend of mine is a supervisor with a major tower company...! They can't get enough help...They are hiring contractors because they have such a work load. He has steady work for the next 5 years for sure. True, wireless will be here, but like all technologies, it will not be the dominate factor in all of this. It's all about cutting down the labos force...Hell, we are contractors, we should understand that. Fiber transmission is more reliable and it takes far less techs to work it. Bottom line. More light, means less techs. More wireless means less techs and also requires a different tech. Our industry is changing fast. True, there are plenty of hardline systems, but they are growing smaller everyday. Hell, I remember when there were 12 stations.
