We have an underground cable (.500) that shows 50 volts of power on the sheath when disco'd from the equipment. We have made sure that the LE that feeds it is not powered thru. I am not sure where the power is coming from. It goes away when the cable is connected back to the coupler, obviously being grounded. Show lots of electrical interference when I TDR the line. Any suggestions will be a big help. The cable jacket has a break or crack in it I'm sure. I think it is coming from the electrical wiring to the outside plugs in the parking lot, but power company says this wouldn't happen without blowing a breaker somewhere. If so is this just a case of induction through the break/ crack in the cable?
