the shield is cracked and full of water. you will dig it up and see the cable eat up. put a amp on it, inject at the cli freq thru the cable and walk along the ground. if its direct bury may help ya find it. When you tdr it ground the shield to the tap with a piece of groundwire.

Just some tricks to try.
