I just saw an ad for a fiber splicer they are paying $30 an hour and you have to provide your own truck & full manhole package. This is for Ribbon and Single splicing.
My question is, are there any qualified Fiber Splicer’s out there that would work for this rate? I just had to ask because even if the work was in my back yard I would not open the door for that rate. I pay my in house guys more than that and provide truck tools 401K insurance paid vacations.
What is this industry coming to?
