Who's responsible for lightining damage?

MSP's only care about their own systems anyway, hence the disclaimer in the contract with the customer. Read the back of any cable companies work order, do you think customers would sign it if they actually took the time to read and understand it? How about commercial customers? Sattelite may be somewhat different, but the contract still releases them from any responsibility for damages or loss of service as a result of lightining grounded or not.
