Contract employee is exactly what splcer4life stated. These whiny posts I'm reading is beyond me. When you go into a deal knowing your status: contractor, employee, or both, don't whine about it. Don't say, "yes I'll work for you under your conditions" and then get online whining about being screwed over. Take the deal or not, then shut up. Also the gov't and insurance companies make the business the way it is. If you don't have insurance or workers comp, no one is gonna pay that for you (26% in my state). I personally would not hire any employees during these times with everyone scamming unemployment, especially the "common whiners" that have flooded the industry. Gotta cut costs to hire someone else to listen to all the whining about making $1,000 per 3-4 day work week isn't enough. Can ya tell I have to deal with it alot lately? Bottom line: Go work at Lowe's for a day then complain!
