What If

Hey I'm not trying to start trouble,just wanting to start some informative dialogue.I'm Catholic and I have always been told that that is the true faith and if you don't believe you won't go to heaven.I don't pay to much attention to that spiritual bullshit,but just wondering what trhe true faith is and what makes you folks think you are the chosen.Islam thinks there the ones and guess what!!!My question is,"Is there actually a God or is it a humans way of searching for a supreme being to explain their existence"Don't quote no books cuz who knows were they came from,just looking for some logic!Thanx
