I began a career in cable about three years ago and have recently found it very hard to find a job. Due to a stupid and careless mistake with marijuana when I i was 18 yrs old I have a felony on my record. I plead first offenders and have not been in trouble with the law since this incidence. Although this happened five years ago I am having trouble getting accepted into some MSO's. Particularly Comcast. If anyone has any advice on smaller companies that may not be very concerned with non violent or single blemishes on a techs criminal history please pm. I was ok around 03 and 04 but for some reason recently employers have been very selective in choosing. If you can help plz.
