I know your clean now ... but there was a reason your family tried to teach you right from wrong. Now your paying for NOT listening, and you will continue to pay for it.
Everyone here is saying "get a lawyer" ...go for it. Get one. Make sure he's a cheap one too because he's not really gonna be able to do anything until your Felony Conviction is 10 years old.
My older brother didn't listen either. He screwed up at the same age you did 18. He's 42 now, doing good, but still can't vote, carry a gun, or have a job that requires a security clearance. He's come to peace with his "blemish" ... owns his own business and make more money than me. But boy-oh-boy ... You should have heard him bitch the first 10 years after that conviction at 18.
Get positive with it. Check with any social outreach programs and take your story into the schools. See if they listen to you and what you've learned.
I bet you'll find them as closed minded and arrogant as you were when 16yo.
