Re: 250,000 a couple is rich?

Yes all good points. We really have to work on the people we elect. But some just don't see this coming. And they think all is going to be good. I haven't seen socialism work in the world and others don't see and some ever refuse to see it is coming. They can't connect the dots.

I understand they want a better life for those that may not live as we do but so many of those refuse to do anything about it. Like getting educated. Instead they join gangs, the welfare program, live here illegally and not many of that group pays taxes. But they will be receiving benefits. This administration wants to be the leaders of the world order they are working on getting. The timing was bad for the last administration to pull it off and they were much more subtle about it anyway.

So it may not be that I will make 200,000 this year but what will the rate be next year? 150,000? And the year after that? I think it is a question to be concerned about since the rate started at 250,000 during the campaign. But I guess those who don't want to give up their hard earned money, made at a job landed by hard earned education and extra effort, to people who just expect free money is unpatriotic and mean. In the eyes of those who are trying to get socialism anyway.

I have posted this before and feel it is a great example to what is getting ready to happen....we are going to fail this class......

An economics professor at Texas Tech said he had never failed a single
student, but had once failed an entire class.

The class (students) insisted that socialism worked since no one would be
poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer. The professor then said,
"OK, we will have an experiment in this class on socialism."

"All grades will be averaged and everyone will receive the same grade so
no one will fail and no one will receive an A."

After the first test the grades were averaged and everyone got a B. The
students who had studied hard were upset while the students who had
studied very little were happy.

But, as the second test rolled around, the students who had studied little
studied even less and the ones who had studied hard decided that since
they couldn't make an A, they also studied less. The second Test average
was a D.

No one was happy. When the 3rd test rolled around the average grade was an
F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame, name calling, all resulted
in hard feelings and no one would study for anyone else.

To their great surprise all failed. The professor told them that socialism
would ultimately fail because the harder people try to succeed the greater
their reward (capitalism) but when a government takes all the reward
away (socialism) no one will try or succeed.
