anybody here ever switch from cable contracing to satelite??? i hear good and bad things about it...i have a friend that is a contractor for DIRECT T.V (MULTIBAND) and he makes pretty good $$$$. but at the same time he has to buy his own cable ,fittings,etc..is it worth the switch??? from what i understand if you do a pole mount you get to charge the customer anywhere between 50$-75$...and if you do a wallfish you can charge 50$ and 100$. and even if you feel you have used to much cable for the install you can charge by the ft on a non stardard install...all payable to you (the contractor) by the time the install is complete. thats not counting the money you made on the job for the install...--paying 85$ for two rooms and 20$ for every box after that ...thats more than i make for a triple play .......67$ .....but dont the satelite contractors drive all over bum fuck nowhere? ....
gettin burned out on cable....is satelite better?
