Full time employee.....Why would anyone want to:??

I am seeing a lot more primes looking for full time employees. I dont get this at all. Why would someone like me who actually owns there own stuff and knows what they are doing, want to go and work as a full time employee and have some one rent me a truck, rent me some meters that I all ready own and over charge me for insurance that I all ready have? I dont understand this.
