The story is true and it is a shame. Happened in my area last week. He was with a company called Tri wire. There has been other incidents out here too. Just not as fatal. Safety should be the # 1 thing on everyone's mind from the start of the day to the end. I train the in-house folks mostly but I do see a big need for some kind of contractor safety certification that needs to be signed off by the company that hires the contractor to work for them.
