What is the Dumbest thing you have seen done in Ca

I was working on a job in west central florida on a fiber job and another crew was pulling a 22k+ fiber run, well they were in arcadia and had a t-40 there setting on a sandbar in the middle of the charlotte river as a mid pull wench truck ,all sorts of 4 wheeler tracks drive on and off the sand bar, well it was getting late and they shut the job down for the night, well the next morning they find the t-40 in about 5ft of water well the foreman told his owner that it was a river sandbar and unless it rained the river would stay the same, well .. let's just say the foreman was looking for a new job, and the owner said you are 32 miles from the ocean on a river that flows into the ocean and when the tide raises and the river follows.. I think he(the foreman) was from the mountains and thought that water only flows downhill
