direct tv allows you to charge up to $16 for a flat wire, If you do or not is on you, just remember you paid for it and are receiving no benefits or retirement for dtv.Also a free install covers from dish to point of entry, then from wallplate to tv, anything in between can be charged for.The differance is all in how much of the kool-aid installers are willing to drink from the HSPs.Go to best buy and ask a salesperson about a dtv system and you may be suprised by what they tell you is not included in a free install.
