Mike Hayward.. come on dude (Hit 100 sticks in one day changing traps) you had to be one tired dude throwing that Ladder or 1 blistered up dude if you hooked 100 stickes a day.. not trying to bust your balls but after 37 years the best pole count I could do a day was 32, swapping a lasher on a fiber run and that only takes about 7 minutes to Bugnut & strap each location.
Plus back in the OLD Days a contractor never dreamed of keeping your retainage because he knew he would get his ass whipped on the job rite in front of all his men and the old dawgs would just stand back and let it happen..
And if there was a Hack on the job he was sent packing by the crew, not the prime.. (It was hack either walk away or crawl away)
the linemen had their pride and lived & died by it.
not the crap that go's on now..
Primes,Subs steal from you now and know you can't do squat.. you touch them you end up with a felony, you sue them you waste your money in court, you undo your work you have done, the prime & the customer are filling criminal charges on you.
we need to bring the good wood shed back
