One big difference is that it's a passive network, no need for amplifiers- what goes in is what comes out. Also you're sharing your circuit with max. 32 subs, so the after-school online rush won't bog you down. The down side is that it relys on power from your home, so once the power goes out, your phone is soon to follow. Anyway it's the cat's ass...
