You said it. I remember building some cable across a creek in PA. It was a 500 ft span framed at 50 ft on both poles each one on top of hills so the mid span was easily 70 to 80 ft above the creek and valley. When we went to jig the cable across we used a bosons chair on the strand so we could set rollers. The 3 of us on the crew flipped a coin to see who got to ride the chair. I won and it was a great ride. The thing was all 3 of us wanted to ride the chair. It was a blast and the other guys got to ride the chair but they had to wait for other jobs to do so. Now it's hard to get someone to climb higher than 30 ft.
By the way who's bright idea was it to put a splice in the middle of a bridge crossing? (bash) must of been a engineer that never worked in the field a day in his life.(nod)
