If you knew how many of the generation that is coming up behind us that I have been through; We could open 4 new McDonalds and fill both shifts with them because that is about the only employment that I believe they could handle. And it seems that most of these people running these MSO's just perpetuate the problem by babying them to no end. I'm 48 years old, and it seems that I can still work circles around these pups. I had a problem with a splice that sucked out a few weeks ago on some trunk on a bridge crossing and this so called tech I had wouldn't go out on the middle of the bridge to fix it. Man, to me that is the best part of the job are the challenges and thrills you can get out of doing work like that. We are a dying breed.
