years ago, didn't even know enough to be called a newbie, I whittled down a rg-12 drop to fit a 6 fitting. Apparently it leaked a little signal. This was in Ft. Worth and the house was on an flight path for DFW. I guess they weren't wild about getting the Young and the Restless while trying to land. The resulting explosion wasn't pretty. Wasn't allowed to do anything but hotups for months. Shoulda fired my ass.
