I got into this business in 1998 at 45 with primestar a much more labor involved system than directv I turned 55 sept. 30th I have a commercial 1.2 meter VSAT install to do tomorrow being as it's a 1.2 I'll handle it by myself it all depends on what kind of shape your in you can get yourself in some rough situations just installing residential systems but age is not your main concern theifs and rip offs are what you better watch out for
