thinking of getting into

Hi,
Im 42 and am considering getting into installing direct tv. Was wondering if there are any other guys in there 40's doing this or am I crazy to consider? Any advice as to what is physically easier, cable or satellite or anything else to consider would be a great help. Thanks for your help.
