If this clown doesn't even have his own equipment he isn't a contractor, but rather a labor broker. Get all your ducks in a row and get together with the others that are feeling this way. Assemble a cooperative of those other subs and form a company. Then document all of the abuse and other goings on on paper and record all the rants and then simply all walk at the same time, give it about one weeks time and then approach the mso. If they liked your work, and since you already know their system you have a decent shot at getting a prime contract.
The only allegiance the mso lackeys have is to making quota and their numbers look good. I've seen a two man crew get a prime contract doing under ground on more than one occasion.
Personally me ???? I'd knock the sucker out, pull down his knickers and leave him laying in the road with a bell wrench sticking out of his arse.
