Re: Sub contractor abuse?

Some good advice right there. Start your own shop. If you have too small a crew, round up all those other guys working for this jerk as well and form an S-Corp together. The S-Corp form of incorporation will allow all of you who are going to be owners of the company to become shareholders. Then you just divy up the shares based on each owner's contributions. Let's say you contribute $50,000 in equipment, another guy fronts $10,000 for other equipment, etc., then you would get more shares and thus more of the profits after everything's paid for. Each share gets the same amount of dividends, just give more shares to those contributing more money and assets to the startup. A good lawyer can do the paperwork for you. You all just have to agree to meet up with a lawyer and get him working on your situation. Then you can meet up with the MSO and have the workforce and equipment necessary to get a contract.

Also, never hurts to take the guy at the MSO down to Vegas or Atlantic City for some hookers, craps, blackjack, blow, or whatever else he's into. That'll get you the contract. (devilwink)
