I would
1. read "There are no Electrons"
2. take a computer networking class at local comm college
3. take DC circuit analysis or what ever is the basic electronic 101 equivalent course at local comm college.
this will give you a foundation of understanding that the average noob will not have. After this is done you will be better able to decide what direction you want to go in. But you can not go from installs to sweep. The splicing and troubleshooting skills needed to be an adequate sweep tech cannot be learned while your learning to sweep.
If you know someone that splices be his best friend and hump his tools and learn how to build locations, then learn to activate.
