where do I go?

I'm a installer for almost 4 years now,and i just want to move on to sweep or mapping,where the heck do i go to learn that besides being a employee ( I'm a 1099 since the get go) Is there a college or something?I know the $$$ is better ,and costumers drive you crazy after a while doing this......
