I don't blame you one bit...I have been out here 20+ myself, and after finishing payroll for the week, I think McDonald's is looking mighty fine right now. I just can't get over the fact that all of the pricing is heading on a downward spiral that looks as though it will never cease. I don't understand the concept of residential satellite installations any more. I just don't get it. The prices of the packages have doubled since I started doing Direct back in '95, and in return the install rates have been cut in half. Coax, ground wire, and connectors are at an all time high. I travel over 1,000 miles easy every week, and I can't do it any longer. I have spent $300 in gas since Monday and have netted $560 dollars in install fees. With the beating my truck is taking, the beating I take after the wife sees the invoice..It's time to find greener pastures. When your wife is doubling your salary being an office manager, time to get to steppin...
