All the splicing should be done. Re read the question. For an install you should only need to plug the drop into a port on the outside of the terminal. All standard drop bury or aerial rules should apply. There will be some kind of network interface unit to install at prewire and all house wires ( twisted pair, Cat 5, and Coax ) will be brought to it and attatched, plugged in or screwed on.
