There is a post right now in the Companies section where an "experienced" satellite and cable installer is complaining about a tech that came to his house to do an install and just left the equipment, had a problem running a line in the crawl space and nicked one of his air lines or something. They had to send out a supervisor and he messed something else up....blah blah blah.
As a professional installer with plenty of experience myself I know that in my house.....I run all the lines, I do the install, I hook up the equipment, I make sure it is right. If it doesn't work - it is my fault.
That way if in the end something isn't right then I know who to blame.
Quick question to all the professionals out there - who does the install at your house? If you need a line ran who does it?
funny observation and question
