Businesses hire illegals because they are cheap, period! They're no harder working than any American raised with a work ethic! There are lazy Mexicans as well as lazy Americans! Only difference here is an American lives in his or her community and faces the scrutiny of their neighbors and our children do so as well. When you're an illegal you need to keep a low profile, not drinkin', druggin' and shootin' up the town. An American pulls that, he goes to jail, generally for a long time. If an illegal does so , he gets a free ride home and will be back across the border in no time. If you don't believe so ,well, i wouldn't call you naive but definately unaware of how it really works. By the way, what the heck is a Mexican/American? As far as i know the only way you retain a dual citizenship is if you're a child born on foreign soil and once you reach the age of 18 you choose which side of the fence you sit on! Later, Mike M.
