If I may jump in here,
I understand what you are saying RC, but, you have to measure the cost increases as compared to what realistically should be.
The cost of cable has inclined several times, yet the rate increases to the people providing the MSO's the ability to supply good service to it's consumers, has been too far and few between, and minimal at best.
Think back, look at the economy and other industries, and how the supply and demand varied causing their profit margins to do the same. Yet our industry rates continued to decline, even though the demands have been rising. Let's measure completely across the board and not just in one area.
Not trying to offend, just stating what I see.
