well good for you, wish I had a contract with you, lol, NOT, too many companies just don't pay much less pay more than expected, but on more of a serious note, it sounds to me as if this contractor wanted you to get pissed @ this tech for discussing pay rates with another, & fire him, seems as though you are smarter than that or just not that evil minded. GLTY.
