"I believe we should bring back the draft."
As I said in the original post, when America is in harm's way, there is no shortage of people willing to fight to defend her. Logically, there is never a need for a draft because of that. If ever a draft is needed to truly ensure our nation's defense, then that is an indicator that the general public no longer feels this nation is worth protecting. That is not the case here as we have people that will still defend this nation. The general American citizenry doesn't believe this war is just and that is evident by the fact no one wants to sign up for it.
