The problem is the so called mappers are 18 year old kids fresh out of school who have never been up a pole in there lives. I tried my hand at mapping a while back and realized Im not cut out for it. But the project coordinator knew nothing about catv plant. He did have a fancy dmi in his car wich enabled him to measure the distance between utility poles w/out gettin out of his vehicle. Thats when I realized how he was billing for 5 miles of plant a day and still being back at the hotel by lunch time.
