I have been a cable operator for 35 years and I know if I had paid the going price for my systems I would be in a bind,there is no money in video,either via dish ,fiber or cable ,the programmers get it most of the $.Most of the smaller mso's paid too much and have been slow to go internet so there in a bind.I don't know the answer to the contractors problem of not being paid,but I don't think its the owners of the systems not paying I think its the sub sub method getting the work done,too many subcontractors,some where someone doesn't pay and the bottom sub gets took. Be careful who you work for,maybe its them and not you that needs the drug test.Good luck Chuck
