For Kong and all of you men who have been quoting the law as given by God to the Jews. I do not understand all of the why's we can ask regarding the keeping of those laws.
One thing I know is this....Jesus said "I have come to fulfill the law," and also...."I am come that you might have life and life more abundantly." The Levitical law has been fulfilled in the birth, life, death, burial and resurection of Jesus. He said 2000 years ago and still says today in my paraphrased version..."I have come and paid the debt of your failure and inability to keep the law. All you must do now is believe that I am the Christ, believe that I rose from the dead, and love Me with all your heart soul and mind. You can not earn your way to heaven, you must accept My gift. "
For those who wonder if they can not be accepted because of some physical defect, and I know you all were joking and making light of that part of the law, Jesus says...."whosoever will may come."
Just some thoughts....
