Super Dish And Dish 500 X Help

I have recently been given the great opportunity to install some Dish Network. I have a couple of questions to be answered if someone would oblige. I installed a super dish yesterday and cannot for the life of me find the 121 bird..I have swapped every lnb line and still can only get the 119 and 110. My signal pointing screen is set to super dish...Also I came across a dish 500 x or plus whatever that thing is. Lucky for me the customer was shorted on hardware. It is being used for the same application as the the super dish. But the 500 x is using the 118 bird. Why would they use two different birds for the same programming? That seems Charlie like. I remember why I stopped doing Dish installs, all of this switch checking and downloading the extreme hold times on the phone. I have been installing dtv and dish since the minute they came out, but all of these new dishes with DIsh have me up in awe. A little help would be appreciated. I don't need to know the azimuth elevation and skew, I have all that correct. Maybe just a little insight as to what kind of problems and maybe any little trade secrets would be greatly appreciated.
