I agree and disagree with your comments. I have been doing DTV installs since 95. I have seen all the changes. But I will say that phone lines have always been a requirement of the basic installation process. It only becomes custom work when an interior wall has to be "fished" . Exterior wall as is with cable always has been part of the standard installation.
