IMO, I have no problem wit the phone line requirements. My problem was the possibilty of having to do them at no charge. Telephone jacks have always been my #1 source of custom work. So having an IRD that doesnt need them, or being required to install them at no charge, both do the same thing. Cost me $$$. Theres nothing good about that.
I understand that technology evolves. I'd rather loose out on custom work due to these new IRD's than a mandate of doing work, that has always been considered custom, free.
