what exactly is it that a union can do for you that you can't do yourself?
or is it just easier to et someone else do the leg work for you.
Oh wait a min. that sounds like a person from the office who doesn't get out in the field as you put it.
You said you (any one) can only turn down so many "that's what we offer take it or leave it" offers, this is true.
explain to me how the union will change that.
because from where i stand i don't see it. All i see is contractors getting screwed and in house guys paying a dues and getting benifits they could have gotton ontheir own.
And to tell the truth I see a flood gate openning of lazy techs that complain and cry all the time, and on't produce crap.
lets face facts here.
There is a large party of complainers here are guys who got backcharged for shotty workmanship.
And like I said before why can't any one open their mouth and negotiate thmselfs a descent contract?
