Although I have a different opinion on the birth control issue than you do. I agree with you on the fact that there are enough of them out there to make abortion unessesary.
I have five children, four of them daughters. When I was pregnant with my first born (daughter) there were people trying to get me to have an abortion. I was unmarried and 18 yrs old. I didnt stay with the father. It was difficult being a single mother, but it has been a wonderful gift that I wouldnt change for the world. It was even worth going through her teenage years (her attitude sucked)! She now has a beautiful baby girl of her own.
I don't think that people realize that abortion does effect you sooner or later. They may not want to admit it but the guilt will set in.
What I don't understand is why have an abortion? If you truly don't want the baby then why not give it up for adoption?
