True your right competition is good, I guess always is.I just think it will stress the smaller catv systems ability to compete. Now a 750hfc system can compete up to a point but (I may be wrong have been before) cannot pass 20meg to each sub(and still make money) unless I'm that far behind the curve. I recently had a small system sold to a rural telco who is offering this type of service the few subs just weren't worth fighting over. Just how much bandwidth can a coaxial cable pass? I think ftth is coming to a home near you soon and unless your up on your game is gonna get subs which means less money, help etc. Its the next boom in places and a lot of money is gonna be spent on both sides getting richer in fiber.I already wish I had doubled my last buildout!
