90 Is the going rate for the contractor the employee gets 45 the contractor looks to make 35% profit thats after xpenses insurance pay office overhead . and so on . Most of these contracts are 1 million + . I know this cause I was LOcal 3 In ny forman and any time my crew made over 35%
profit the company gave me half inturn i split it with the guys
The union also had a school to teach everyone there trade and so on unions are good any negitive talk I here from the bar Is usually because that party didnt play by the rules and so on
I m curiuos why anybody would think that the 90 per hr is a bad # or why they think they should get that amount If I read the post wrong im sorry but lets stay on the same page . local 3 is electrical workers Ibew is 1430 and there low voltage and those numbers also change
