Im not too sure where you coming from, but all represented lineman working for the telcos make 26-30/hr. Thats fact. With a VERY good benefits package, a pension, and paid vacations. If you can get that in cable or sat show it to me, I want in.
None the less we all find ways to support our families. Some make 50k working 60 hrs a week, others make it working 36hrs/ week. On the grand scale of things I say we all our blessed to be able to provide for our familys. But for the sake of discussing pay in the telecom industry, improvement is needed to get the unrepresented workers closer to the represented.
