Thats not true here.I worked telco for years and made decent money could never break into the good ole boy network of the locals and couldnt get inhouse on a bribe. One day I just gave up,realizing that they hardly ever promote climbing linemen (whos gonna do take his place for $575 a week salary and live on the road?) So I gave up after many years of hard work and during a frequent lately lay-off I took a big pay cut and went in house catv. Now many years later I make more than most telco techs and they've been trying to hire me lately. I'm stayin put and gonna ride the horse a few more years.
