dpp and 2 single tuners

rolled on a a trouble call yesterday and found the problem to be line of sight, but only if the wind blew a certain direction (i was the third truck roll in 2 months) before figuring that out i called out the main trouble call resolver in the shop....... after seeing the problem resolved he still recommended a dpp with a feed off a dp dual for the 148.....signal strength showed higher by 10 on both SINGLE tuners. maybe that's a result of an improper configuration......i can't say for sure, but all the same it worked and when i called back today it was still working.........i was told not to use a dpp on two singles without the dual but all the same, from what i've seen there are no issues (in this configuration at least)
